Our Precious Young Ones

Many say that today’s youth are irresponsible, live in their own world of technology, parties, drugs, drinks, can’t have long term relationships, etc.

I say, today’s youth are smart, highly talented, they want solutions to all their problem, can’t understand dilly – dally approach, they are not ready to compromise on what they set their minds on, they don’t feel guilty to tell their previous generations where they have been wrong, they know how to put their ego down but to maintain their self – respect, they are sensitive to other people’s feelings and needs but, would also never sacrifice their desires.

Yes, today’s Youth are different and so are their problems. The more we understand them and adapt to the new world our young ones are entering…the more we would be able to help the youth around the world to cope with its pressure.

If today’s youth are open about their choices, opinions, sexual preference, technologically advanced, likes partying, starts forming relationship very early in life…do you think this is a sudden change. It is a reaction to decades of suppression. For ex, the more you suppressed the spring, the more forcefully it will spring back. Our young ones are just voicing decades of desires and feelings that has not been voiced, they are just living the life we have always craved to live. Once, we understand that we would back our youth in their beliefs with conviction and guide them to constructively voice themselves. With our experience and our precious young one's raw and vibrant energy we can, not only change a family's old mindset but also, a society's and a nation's old mindset.   

How much ever, we want to deny, our young ones are just reflecting our dreams, the life we always wanted to live, thoughts we always wanted to put into words, words which we always wanted to put into actions.

Today’s youth need to be in alignment with their thoughts – words – actions so that they can fulfil their soul’s dream on this earth. The more we want to raise our children, like our parent raised us…the more miserable we would become. The more we are open to the new world’s mindset, the more we would understand our young ones and help them to constructively mould their energies.

If the alignment of Thoughts - Words - Actions is not present in one's life, it can get difficult for any adult to be constructive. Here, we are talking about these sensitive and spiritual advanced youngster. Since, they are spiritually advanced they are much more sensitive to alignments, honesty, there is a high need in them to be individualistic and to be understood correctly. If they are not able to get that from their immediate environment, there are chances they would become destructive.  

Generally, addiction takes place when there are empty spaces in one’s heart, when there is lot of anger especially towards parent or parent – figure. If your teenager or young adult is addicted to video games, drinking, smoking, is not stable in relationships, etc… it’s time for both the parent to sit and analyze. It’s not too late to get your child back and put your family back on track.
