Roots

My Teacher used to tell me, “Anyone can succeed by pulling other people down, it takes character to succeed by uplifting others along with you.”

You have succeeded – You have gone down – You have again taken a leap of success – Again, you have gone down.

There are a few people who will keep growing continuously in their financial position through generations to come.

There are a lot of people who find it very difficult to sustain success. I am talking success in terms of financial standing and achieving one’s ambition.

When success does not stay in your life or there is no steady growth. That’s the time one needs to check one’s Roots’.

We @FUDOL Therapy define Roots as anything you have been given on your birth like your Family, Society, Mother Land, Humanity & Nature.

Ask Questions Like:

Have you taken along all your family members in your success story?

Have you in the process of being successful, done a lot of unfairness to any of your family member like: condemned or mocked or harmed your “weaker” family member; being insensitive to your sibling or any member of your family who is not as successful as you are?

Have you harmed your society and your Mother Land for your success?

Have you taken undue advantage of people working under you?

Have you behaved badly with the women of your house – forgetting their role in your success?

Has Mother Nature played price for your success?

Have you forgotten that behind your success there are a lot of people’s support, prayers and help?

These above questions will help you answer whether you have taken care of your roots while succeeding.

If you also uplift your roots along with uplifting yourself then, surely the foundation of your success will be far more stronger and thus the growth and sustainability.

If you want us to assist you in strengthening your Roots then book an appointment.

Dusk of Jainism (Stanakvasi Sect)

Jainism is an ancient religion from India that teaches that the way to liberation and bliss – is to live life of harmlessness and renunciation. The aim of Jainism is to achieve liberation of soul. Stanakvasi is a sect of Jainism that believes that soul is nirakar “without any form”, and hence do not pray to any statue. Stanak is a place where stanakvasi’s male saints called as, “Maharaj Saheb” and female Saint “MahaSatiji” resides (though, both can’t live in one stanak together). When a person becomes a Saint in Stanakvasi or takes Diksha – they renounce the material world and follow the path of Jainism which would include: Ahimsa (non – violent), Satya (truthfulness), Asteya (non stealing), Aparigraha (non acquisition), and Brahmacharya (chaste living). They are trained before they become Saint to follow and preach these 5 basic vows. Stanak is handled and managed by Shravaks – devotees of Jainism to take care of Saints.

Recently, one of the biggest Stanak’s in India went through its darkest phase. All 5 vows were broken. Ego’s, Anger, Parigrah, Asatya, etc were seen at its peak. It saddens me to see the state of Jainism – no religion should get degraded to such a level.

But, on a 2nd thought, this degradation has been happening for a long time now. What happened @ the largest stanak of Jain was quite inevitable.

If the first time saints entered the management of stanaks – it should have been stopped.

If small changes would have been accepted by the rigid but, good intent shravaks then, perhaps today Jainism’s protection would not have gone to ignorant shravaks.

If we would not have cut ourselves from the Roots of Hinduism...Jainism would have been still firmly rooted.

If we would have shown that maturity and strictness to not let a 5 year old or 16 year old take Diksha and become a Saint -  then probably Jainism would have Saints who understand its principles to the core and correctly.

If only the scriptures were translated in English @ the right time so that the Youths would not digress from the core and traditional Jainism.

If only the emphasis was given more to reducing anger, greed, hatred in oneself rather then fasting and other rituals – then the dusk of Jainism would not have been inevitable.

With all the ‘If’s’ and ‘But’s’ in my mind ...I still think dusk for Stanakvasi Jain was inevitable as... whenever, ripples of change is ignored/suppressed/mocked at it will become an uncontrollable force which will come alongwith, big and shallow EGO, Blindness and Greed and has the capacity to shake any virtuous people, religion and situation.

Ending this Blog with a belief that again virtuous generations who value the core principles of Jainism would be born and Stanakvasi Jain religion will see its dawn and again reach to its heights of Glory, Sanity and Purity.

Concreteness

According to FUDOL Therapies,

“Concreteness is that strength in your character which makes you reliable person and a strong person in your eyes as well as other’s eyes.”

Here, character means the aura you emanate, the trust you generate in other person and the ability to confidently stand by your relationships in all areas of life (relationship with your family, friends, relatives, colleagues, relationship with your work and relationship with your soul).

If you already have that kind of concreteness no need to read any further.

Let’s see the main ingredient on how do we develop concreteness:

The main and basic ingredient to develop concreteness is to: Stop Playing Mind Games With Others / Stop Manipulating Others.

For example:

A) In a marriage, if you have done a lot of harm to your spouse in some way or the other. But, rather than accepting your mistakes when you come in your senses ... you keep finding faults and play mind games with that person so that the blame shifts from you to your spouse.

B) In your work area, since you want that promotion badly you manipulate the boss to not give promotion to the more deserving colleague of yours just because you need it. In the desperation, you tend to take the other person’s credit and eventually get a promotion.

C) Just because your need to control others is very highly (you are aware of it) rather than doing something about it within yourself, you see to it that you make other people’s life miserable. You become so blind in your quest to control others and the situation that you in the end either start losing your relationships or harming them in big way.

D) When someone comes to you for help and if it would require courage to help that person as your interest might go for a toss. Though, you agree to help but, afterwards you turn the situation against the person who has asked for your help so that your interest is served.

E) You are good in your work but, you start lazing around and start finding short cuts so that you can laze around, you are not sincere about your work and find ‘n’ number of excuses to not do your work properly or reach your potential. Right from “I don’t have to time” to “Procrastination” ...one has all the excuses.

Above are the few examples which will definitely make your character very weak and your auric field will sooner or later reflect it to others.

You cannot cheat the Universe. You can lie to others and yourself for sometimes but, not for long. People might not express it to you but, they will definitely feel it in your auric field.

Manipulation, Putting the blaming on others just to save yourself, being insincere in your work,etc.etc. --- You would say all these things are required to survive in the world.

These are the things which might look thrilling in short term but has a very harmful effect not only to your character but also, on your soul.

The minute you don’t accept your fault, the minute you start thinking about a lose – win situation, you are no more growing within yourself, you are no more learning things from your problems which universe has given you and you refute its purpose. You would no longer stand by your words, your actions become weaker as you are going against your conscience, your soul’s purpose. Thus, affecting your confidence level big time.

Remember,

Be courageous. If you don’t harm others in any ways, Universe will take care of you, it will throw ample of opportunities, you will grow and learn things, it will open lot of doors.

Take a Commitment only if you can Fulfil it, Give your Word only if you can Stand by it, Help others with a Pure Heart and Unconditionally.

More straight forward you are (here, I don’t mean Be Rude) – More you will be able to stand up for what you believe -  More you will be honest to yourself -  More pure your heart will be – More you will be clear about your thoughts – More your personality will evolve - More you would be yourself – More peacefully you would sleep – More firmly you will stand on your words – More strength your actions would have – More reliable and trustful people will find you – More you will develop that inner strength - More Concreteness (Strength) you will give your character.

You want to gain back concreteness in your self... we @ FUDOL Therapies will be willing to help you and support you with concreteness.

Are You A Puppet?

Becoming a puppet of an influenced person will not allow your mind to grow...

A puppet is someone who blindly follows a person, an idea, a theory without thinking whether what that person says is applicable to his life. Whether an idea or what a theory says, is it helping him in his life path?

How many of us follow our parent, our teachers, our gurus, or an influenced person blindly. How many of us question them ... what they say is right or wrong? How many of us listen to them, analyze what they are saying and then decide whether it’s right for us? How many of us after initial analysis just blindly follow that person and make them our GOD?

You follow your Parent, you obey them blindly.... And many parents insist on doing that.... Please, it’s starts with the parent... don’t influence your child’s mind...don’t control your child’s mind...encourage his asking questions, questioning your way of working, your thought process rather than insisting that because you are an adult they have to follow you blindly. Let them develop their natural self. If a parent do not control their controlling behaviour towards the child...that particular child will always be below his mental age, he will not only have a fear towards authority his whole life...but, will be dysfunction in a lot of areas of life (mentally). Parents please don’t make your child your puppet because of your EGO, your fear of losing control of over your Child, your protectiveness towards your child, your fear that if your child is out of your control he will not take care of you in the future (basically, implies in Indian culture). Trust me, make them independent mentally, physically and financially and your child will not only take care of you in the future but also, thank you for making him a person who has his own mind, who can call a spade a spade without fearing, who can stand on his two feet proudly and can face himself in the mirror.

Let him fail as many times as he should to learn the lessons of life. Yes, educate the child about the consequence of a particular action but, don’t suppress them. Let them solve their own problems and issues of life...be a support system not their problem solver, let them find their own solutions.

Come out of the clutches of becoming influenced by any influential person... stop being a puppet and getting used by people who are only using you because they crave more power over others and because it satisfies their Ego.

Has it ever happen with you... the person you followed in spite of your instincts not agreeing to it and that person changes his stance whenever it is convenient for him? Have the idea/theory you were following but were not convinced about it but still following it, suddenly became obsolete? And you wished....Why didn’t I follow my Gut Instinct, my Intuition, What I wanted to follow?

Remove that fear of Obedience, fear of always pleasing others, and always looking good in society’s eyes... Once, follow your heart, be yourself ... people will appreciate you and you will do some great service to the society...     As...

Originality can truly create new things in Society...

Following Your Own Path And Not Someone Else’s...Will Rejuvenate Human Compassion and Love.

Bring It On!!!

For Some People life’s challenges are because of their past karma’s;
For Some People life’s challenges are the way their life (destiny) is written;
For Some people life’s challenges are because of what others have done and not done for them;

FUDOL Therapies say,
When Life can’t stop throwing challenges at you...
You roll up your selves, with a Big Laugh, Tell Life to:   BRING IT ON...

None of the “me victim” attitude will help you to solve the problem +
This attitude will make you vulnerable and make you susceptible to lot of low life activity +
You won’t Enjoy & Learn & Grow from solving the challenges life is throwing at you +
Rather than developing more vitality & energy in you, you would start growing old because of that attitude.

Yes... No denying you will sometimes pity yourself, have regrets, cry, become sad, get angry at self and others, etc. all these emotions are fine... we are humans. But, let’s not blame destiny, unfairness of God towards you, your past karmas... Enjoy your life and its challenges with a big laugh.

Many times there are challenges on all the front...
Many times you will not see any way out...

Those are the times you need to hang on, see your positives, analyze what are those few things that are working for you and make those your strengths and hold on to it.

You want to get depressed, give up, shout, be alone – do all of these things but not more than 2 days... Again, gain strength and keep the Bring It On Attitude. It’s a contest between You and Life...More you will face it with courage, the more Life has to take a step back n give you what you deserve.

Bring It On Attitude is the ‘in attitude’ this season in FUDOL Therapies – need help to develop that attitude...you know where to fix up an appointment.
